A 16 year old boy was exposed and burned more than one third of the body from about 2 km north of the hypocenter by the Nagasaki atomic bomb.

長崎原子爆弾により爆心地から北方の約2kmで16歳の男子が被爆した。住吉町東北郷の路上を自転車で走行中に重度の熱傷を受けた。背部と左腹部に全身の3分1以上の火傷を負った。大村海軍病院に搬送されて治療をうけて生命は維持されたが1946年1月になっても火傷は治癒しなかった。
