"Enola Gay" bomber drove and dropped an atomic bomb to Hiroshima City for the first time in human history.

The B-29 "Enola Gay" loaded the atomic bomb "Little Boy" for the first time in human history and dropped on Hiroshima City, Aug. 6th, 1945. The captain "Tibbets", Paul Warfield Tibbets, Jr. named the bomber "Enola Gay" which he quote from his mother's name and was painted at the boarding gate ahead. In order to keep the atom bombs secret, the B-29 was changed the aircraft number on the vertical tail to "R" with a large circle and the recognition number to "86"on the airframe. The exhibition of real "Enola Gay" with the history about atomic bomb disasters at the Smithsonian Museum in 1995 was abandoned due to the violent opposition of the veterans. The aircraft is displayed with sharp guard at the annex.
